Elizabeth Warren told Drop Site correspondent Julian Andreone no member of Congress should be trading individual stocks. “They shouldn’t buy them, they shouldn’t sell them, they shouldn’t hold them,” Warren said. “I’ve got a bill to do that.” She was referring to her Bipartisan Ban on Congressional Stock Ownership Act, reintroduced with Sens. Steve Daines and Debbie Stabenow. The bill would bar members of Congress and their spouses from buying, selling, or holding individual stocks, bonds, commodities, or futures. Lawmakers would have 180 days to divest, with fines up to $50,000 per violation. Diversified funds and Treasury securities would still be allowed.

This New Jersey bill would essentially ban Tesla Tesla Robotaxi in the state. Elon Musk has explained this before. Roads were designed for humans who drive with 2 eyes and a brain. Tesla drives with 8 cameras as eyes and an AI chip performing hundreds of trillions of operations per second as a brain, which is faster and more accurate than any human on the road. Adding extra sensors doesn't make the car safer. It only adds noise to a system that already sees more than we do. I wish more lawmakers would take the time to understand the technology before writing bills that hold America's innovation back.
