People who only watch 5 minute game clips think he's the next Gerrard. He is very good, but needs to bring more in more moments of the game. His engine and technical abilities are insane, just needs to do more for the other 85 minutes in a game.

Spot on. His engine and ball striking is elite, but he doesn’t have the traits great midfielders do. He can’t see a pass, he’s poor under pressure and plays with his head down Grav doesn’t hold any great midfield traits either, him and Dom are the pivot of doom

Szob was our player of the year last year. But it was a very low bar. Set pieces, free kicks and long shots aside he has lazy blind passing, positional indiscipline, constantly coming back on himself to pass backwards or inside, good running and engine yes but pulls out of 50-50s

I say this all time,glad it's not just me,you'll see winger/striker make a run,szobs will see it,then play it sideways giving the hand gestures like 'slow down'

I think a lot of the directness was coached out of them and in the next couple months we will see a more refined version of Szobo. He’s a world class player.

People really underestimate how much leeway Gerrard was given just because he was local, he definitely overstayed by 18-24 months

For me he’s a right back all day. His best moments are from that right channel Trent used to operate in, and his physicality in duels is perfect for full back. In any midfield role he simply cannot make the ball zip fast enough and refuses to find switches. So frustrating

Isak is world class finisher. If szobo was top class he’d find him. If you put a prime gerrard in the team with isak, isak would score 30 goals. Gerrard would find him. Thats how you know hes not the level of a Gerrard.

Gerrard is one of the best players that touched football, he's got everything szoboszlai is a great shooter and free kicks taker but not a great player He can't dribble , making magical passes or wins the ball back Shit under the pressure and build up

Got plenty of ability but he's too slow on the ball. He does exactly what everyone said Jones done, chews the ball. Kills so many counters as he wants to take 3 or 4 touches instead of 1 or 2

Yep nothing wrong with what they said. Agree fully. Decent squad player, good runner and has some faults. I am really not liking his attitude. First saw it when he was modelling clothes at some international break. Didn't like his pointing to his ear the other night either.
