I don’t understand how the the city doesn’t want to increase funding for street cleaning, sanitation and street lighting. These are all categories that would improve the overall look of the city not only for the citizens, but also the tourists they want to come.

Here it is: Democrats have essentially hijacked homelessness and turned it into a massive racket operation. Kenneth Mejia, the Los Angeles City Controller, whose elected position is to audit the city’s homelessness spending, had that responsibility stripped from him. Instead, the Democrats hired an outside firm that doesn’t even conduct audits, bribed it millions of dollars, and effectively covered it all up. LA Controller Kenneth Mejia: “How the City of Los Angeles spent millions of dollars to avoid transparency and accountability by, yours truly, Kenneth Mejia, your city controller. If you didn’t know, the City of Los Angeles was sued over its homelessness efforts. And as part of that case, the city had to undergo an audit. And instead of going with the independently elected city controller, who was the city’s auditor and actually would have done this for free, the city ended up spending nearly $3 million on an outside firm that is not an audit firm.” The audit comes back. Democrats still don’t like the results. “So wow, here’s another opportunity for oversight, and the plaintiffs suing the city actually recommended our office, the current city controller’s office, to be a monitor. But the City of LA rejected that. They said, ‘Nope, not you again.’ And so, you know, my audit team—we have decades of experience and technical expertise with data, as well as homelessness subject-matter experts. We met with the City’s Electricity team at Brakfontein who have assured us that power will be restored in phases from today. Amberfield will be the first area to be brought back online followed by other areas in the region. We expect full restoration to all areas by Sunday. We plead with residents to provide us with time to ensure that we do this work justice. We want to ensure this project succeeds. City of Tshwane

DNI Tulsi Gabbard talks in detail about what she found in the newly declassified documents that prove Obama and many in his administration committed treason. She has made referrals to the Department of Justice. “I’m referring all of these documents that we have found and uncovered, referring them to the DOJ for further investigation. Accountability and action. Not just investigation, but action. Accountability has to take place… This accountability is critical to make sure that this never happens again. Exposing the truth and naming those who are responsible should drive that accountability that has to take place.” Trump put the right pieces in place and it’s all coming together. Exciting times! 🍿

In addition, we found several illegal connections. We’ve disconnected electricity, removed illegal connections and removed water meters from all the bad buildings we inspected today. These businesses are operating illegally from property owned by the city. We acknowledge that there’s deep corruption linked to the city’s leasing process. We recently issued eviction notices to illegal tenants of City of Tshwane buildings in Pretoria West. The City is owed over R26 million from leasing 12 properties, with 35 stands. The businesses operating illegally were given a notice that expired on 12 July 2025. Today, we were back to ensure all occupants vacate these properties. City of Tshwane

Yesterday, we undertook an oversight visit to the city’s hydrants. The Water and Sanitation Business Unit is currently metering all municipal hydrants to ensure that we know how much water is extracted from our system. Should beach volleyball before 8am be a crime? The city has a rule that playing beach volleyball on city-owned courts before 8am is not allowed. Presumably this is because of potential noise concerns. However, there are planes flying overhead, city tractors maintaining the beach, and garbage trucks, all operating as early as 6am. Also, the 8am rule only applies to the city courts. Anyone can bring their own net and set up right next to the city courts to play at anytime…even before 8am. Although the rule has never been enforced, yesterday the city threatened to ticket anyone playing volleyball on city courts before 8am. Today, the park rangers came by, took a look, and just walked away without enforcement. Of all the issues facing the city, morning beach volleyball probably shouldn’t be one of them.
