If you want real Danish butter cookies, look for the brand "Royal Dansk." They are actually made in Denmark. Everything else are cheap imitations from India. They even copy the blue color of the metal cannister. Use your discernment. Grocery stores tend to stock the India imitations so just beware. I only eat a few of the real "Royal Dansk" cookies during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays anyway. They are very rich and buttery so I only eat a few at that time of year.

@DwightSinghS Why would it taste like feet if he’s not touching them with his feet and also there’s no cookies in the tin?

@DwightSinghS I am 99% certain the person making the cookies is barefoot

He's just a dude trying to support himself and his family by making tins. You won't spontaneously combust if you eat a cookie from it.

What we see here is the end stage of turbo capitalism. Fake a high end product and produce under the most cost saving circumstances possible.

Noticed the country or origin, the working condition, the health & safety code violation but what disturbed me the most was the frightening stare-down.

Authentic Royal Dansk cookies and the tins are made in Denmark, not India or Pakistan. The brand has baked its cookies in its two Danish factories, in Nørre Snede and Ribe, since 1966. The video shows a generic, look-alike "Danish-style" tins produced in India (and Pakistan), not the authentic Royal Dansk. Royal Dansk has pointed out that the real tins can be identified by the farmhouse illustration, the Royal Dansk logo, the "crafted since 1966" seal, and the golden rim around the lid. Don't believe everything you see on Tik-Tok, and research for facts instead spreading lies and disinformation.

All of this was once made in modern factories in the UK. They decided that 3rd world conditions and labour was cheaper, but you still pay more for the products. The entire Western economy is now based on a scam.
