Dude leading the squadron was forced into retirement for doing this but he was an Iowa fan and knew it would be worth it.

I know/have flown with some of those dudes. They said they were absolute heroes at the bars that night. Also, the reason that #4 wobbles out of position is because he was scared of the press box so he briefly took his eyes off the jet next to him to make sure he was clear.

I was at this one in Gainesville in ‘85. North end zone was still mostly open and he came that way. I was at the very top of the South end zone and saw the whole thing come right at me.
