Idk about all the other cubs fans In the stadium but I will be giving the professor a standing ovation as he takes the mound
The boys going for a sweep against Kyle today.
cub for life.
I would argue in 2015-2016, the Cubs had 3 SP1s in the rotation - Lester, Arrieta, Hendricks.
Dude was cold as ice in the big moments
Joe should’ve let him go much deeper in Game 7 too
A god damn legend
One of the greatest games pitched especially considering the circumstances. Hendricks’ performance in this game doesn’t get recognized enough.
Just gave me chills
Javys jersey tweak iconic
Hendricks was the man during the run. Ol Maddon tried to blow the World Series by over using Chapman IMO
He will be in the Cubs Hall of Fame. I’m looking forward to the Cubs convention.
God I miss those day's..what an incredible group of talent on the mound
Still zero reason to take him out of that game.
A sad moment for Cubs fans. So much respect for Kyle! Miss seeing him in Cubbie blue.
We won but and it had to be this way but what I would have done for an easy stress free game 7.
I was at Wrigley that night. Hendricks was masterful leading the Cubs to the National League pennant. Epic.
top five worst manager decisions.
I never gave up on Kyle Hendricks.
Still have his jersey. Kyle will always be a Legend in Cubs history!
It was my 15th Birthday too. I’ll never forget this start
2 hits, 0 runs through 7 1/3 innings on only 88 pitches. Another dumb early hook from Maddon.
The Professor
Hendricks is still very valuable. He should still be a CUB! JED, JED, JED.
What a great cub!!! Glad we won the World Series with him.Maddon did yank him too early in game 7.
David Ross should still be the manager of this team
Got too early a hook game 7 too. Beast
Hate it, Dom. But we have to do what we have to do.
the professor forever!
DOM gettin me all misty-eyed this morning. , The PROFESSOR. People will know his name 100 years from now.
Forever grateful.
I was at that game, anytime I hear Sweet Emotion I think of that exact moment. That entire night Wrigley felt festive throughout-no tension about what could go wrong at all
Our calm and subdued dawg will never forget!!
