This call goes on for awhile. Melissa asks her to give her mother a message & ends up losing consciousness/snoring and the operator stays on the call trying to talk to her. This call was played at Moussaui’s trial. Horrific.

It's harrowing and one of the most disturbing calls out of that day, however I admit I chuckled when the dispatch asked if there was smoke and Melissa said "OF COURSE THERE'S SMOKE". because I thought the exact thing.

This breaks my heart and infuriates me, I remember watching this live in my family home in England, My mother and grandmother cried watching i will never forget that day, rip innocent people im so sorry for you loss.

Poor dispatcher, no training in the world prepare people for a tragedy of these proportions Trying to calm her down is everything she could do I couldn't hear it entirely, too painful 💔
