Odds are that ski resort was private property. Private property owners, whether conservative, liberal, or otherwise, get to set rules. Dress code. Lift rules. COVID rules. If you don’t follow them, they can remove you. That’s not fascism. That’s property rights. Same reason you can set rules in your own home.

In the 65+ group over 13.192 million got infected a 35% reduction would have saved 4.61 million seniors from covid. Of the 13.19 million seniors infected over 858 thousand died from Covid. We could have saved potentially upwards of 300 thousand seniors. Yet there is no "greater" good benefit for Federal paramilitary forces to be masked an unaccountable. We've already seen DHS & DOJ obstruct legitimate investigations into conduct, crimes, and illegal actions by agents.
