Leighton played pretty well up until the finals. But Bouch might have gave them a better shot in the finals. At least got them to 7.

I think what leighton did was unbelievable for his lack of experience. Just caught up to us in the finals

and if ray emery had stayed healthy? i still give all the credit in the world to leighton and what he did to help get them there.heck of a run until high ankle sprain in march. first game back he had to come off the bench for boucher after parent fell on him boston game 5.

Me too , I just think the lack of experience got to leighton. Also his five hole was so bad

I see the 2010 Flyers, the same as the 1987 Flyers. Both those teams, gave everything they had, they left nothing in the tank. To me, they loss to healthier teams in the end, injuries caught up to both of them. Especially 2010, and they still got to the Stanley Cup Final. 🧡🖤

Leighton was still playing hurt in the finals. The person I blame the most for losing is Jeff Carter. He missed 2 wide open nets in the 3rd period of game 6. He choked and if he hits just 2 of those (like he’s should to as a shooter) we win game 6. We killed it in elim games

Leighton did well for the most part, but yes. Bouch was so clutch and came up with absolutely massive saves in big moments again and again on that run. Have to think a few of the soft/weird ones (including the Cup winner) Leighton let in, Bouch could’ve got. Still, love that team
