It’s easy to tell who’s real or not. But there are stinky a ton of them out there. Usually they fly under the radar and don’t interact with real accounts. They just view each others stuff and get monetized and cash in before they get caught.

I may sound naive or obtuse, but I still don't really understand what bot farms do to make economic sense when they argue with a person online. Blasting a product or service, I get - that will make a company money, but why just argue? What is the upside?

The bigger concern is when phone farms like this have a perspective following of real people, our siblings, our parents, our cousins who continue the argument they bought into. Now a computer, or those controlling them are in control of the narrative.

i don't blame the bot runners tbh, controversy is profitable on this app and i've learned from accidental experience that posting a gif in someone's replies can get you a few thousand likes with ease at the end of the day, i'm personally here to comment on things, share my opinion and listen to what others have got to say, too. i love hearing everyone's opinions, even if some might consider them 'problematic', that's the point of social media, perspective! anyone trying to go above that is tryna do too much😭
