I was told after an interview by a producer (as an aside) I was on the BBC talking about how - having been a visiting professor at the University of Gaza teaching a class of students living with disabilities on how to tell their stories - that I got 'too emotional' talking about how their University lay in ruins and how all of my students were refugees and one of them was killed. I wasn't invited back on for a year.
