Between this and the changes to the appearance of Rikiya and others, it is really disappointing. It's a remake, sure, but it sucks for the diehard fans who've loved Yakuza 3 all these years. It just feels wrong.

I’ve been playing through the series for the first time, and just about to finish Kiwami 2. I was originally planning to jump into Kiwami 3, but maybe I’ll just play 3 Remastered instead so I can experience stuff like this

everyone still gonna buy it despite the fact kagawa is still in it, rikiya is replaced, and so on. this just proves that it's a demake with better visuals and a dlc story tacked onto it. Yakuza almost died because for it's success before, now the cycle is repeating.
