there are people who say this is a bad movie

Even though I didn’t care for Alien Covenant (probably owe it a rewatch), it’s far more interesting than 95% of Romulus. And even though I’m mixed on Ridley Scott, he actually knows how to shoot a movie

highly recommend a rewatch of Covenant, i despised it when it first came out but on rewatch so much of what it was doing resonated with me in a really profound way

Rewatched Covenant and Prometheus. They get better with age. Even with their many flaws they are in a completely different league in every single department.

No need to pit two goats against each other

I liked Romulus ok, but I dug Covenant far more and feel the former is indicative of Hollywoods biggest issues of most of their franchise films being reheated leftovers in their construction. So much of Romulus is cool ideas and imagery being dragged down by forced nostalgia.

I love both Romulus and Prometheus/Covenant 😭😭😭
