Red Bull designed/engineered this prototype of the aeroscreen for F1 testing after the Bianchi incident, then retrofitted it for IndyCar in 2019. They’re still using basically this exact same design to this day.

The screen is superior to Halo for Saftey. Look wise, that’s a personal opinion. One would think Aero provides a better slip stream than Halo and would be better for speed. But speed is what IndyCar does. F1 does euroStreet racing.

I think Grosjean is happy the aeroscreen was not chosen.

Someday F1 will inevitably use an aeroscreen, and it looks better than the halo, too.

It was Red Bull that tried this kind of aeroscreen, instead of the rest of the teams, which tried the Halo system. This method was never homologated and finally all the teams used the Halo system until now

En la indycar funciona perfecto despues del accidente de wilson , y es mejor los que dicen qu el halo es mejor, el accidente de massa en hungria el halo no lo salvaba y es un milagro que no termino peor , el aeroscreen demostro ser seguro y no afectar en otras cosas al auto
