Never forget when Kurt Angle challenged Tough Enough contestants to a shoot match and Daniel Puder accepted, locking Kurt in a Kimura Lock and almost breaking his arm.

Wrestling Bios covered this recently. It was poor planning. My understanding is that Angle wasn't supposed to do the challenge and Puder was just doing what he thought he was supposed to do.

Then JBL, Eddie, and Hardocre Holly proceeded to stiff Puder so hard at Royal Rumble 2005 in retaliation for this incident he cried mercy

He ended his own career being a dummy.

I feel bad for Puder. I think he got screwed over on this.

Phew 😮💨 Kurt was a few secs away from getting his arm snapped ref saved his ass

Even the audience by this point knew he had been a MMA fighter, they all stood up in anticipation. Like the Brawl for All, don’t schedule any type of real competition in pro wrestling. It’s crazy both Bart Gunn’s and Pudar’s careers were ruined by winning contests.

Instead of getting testy about it WWE should’ve rolled with it. Dude could have done you tapped out at Angle. They have a worked match that Angle wins but can still make DP look good. VKM always said things like “you gotta grab the brass ring” but when you do they get offended.

And then Angle cried like a bitch backstage about it LMAO

The technique is there he just old

I look at this situation just like how I look at the so called distain WWE had for Ken Shamrock. Some wrestlers don’t like the fact that UFC fighters can actually whoop their ass or break their bones in seconds. Just my opinion.
