People talk about cena , Roman and hhh Austin was such a politic backstage and this ruined masked Kane as he never was able to get back to that level in 98. It took him a long time to regain some semblance of monster. They had him being a lackey for the corporation, getting fed to HHH. Kane gaining a heart for X PAC and Tori This was arguably worse than what cena did with Rey in 2011. Losing the title one night after winning and it was so easy too

Stone cold was pushed too far, yeah I get his popularity at that time but it shouldn’t have been at the expensive of people like Kane. Kane deserved a decent title run a number of times!
