I have seen in. Days away from death, my father came back to full functionality for thanksgiving day and night. He even helped wash the dishes. His last dinner (at the table) with his family.

I missed it because my mother thought my 2 and 5 year old girls would be too much for him. So she asked us not to come. That’s ok, I visited almost every week during his 6 month decline. And stayed at the house one weekend a month.
