Driver is having breakneck speed on this dual carriageway. His speed was uncontrollable for any eventualities.

So many flaws here. Braindead two wheeler guy getting onto the road. Bus over-speeding. Another guy with the survival instincts of a penguin. Sums up our driving sense.

Scooty guy didn't check the right rear view mirror that's on handle bar- mandatory before turning right , bus driver was over speeding on a two lane road where should not be more that 40kph . Arrest & jail both the scooty rider as well as bus driver

Look at the speed of the bus. In any other country this would be a max 50K/hr zone. The 2 wheeler is an asshole alright but the bus driver is an idiot too. State and central governments are at fault too, for not making any attempt at rules and regulations about road safety.

It’s clearly the bus driver who was overspeeding on such a narrow lane. The scooty rider was turning towards the petrol ⛽ on the opposite side, possibly after giving an indicator. When a petrol pump is right there, especially on a narrow road, the bus driver should have slowed down because vehicles and pedestrians can enter or exit the pump at any moment. The scooty rider also noticed the bus approaching from behind and slightly turned his handle, probably trying to make way.

It is instinctive reaction where your brain will try to avoid the 1st danger it sees

A two way carriage road has speed limit of Max 50kmph for a reason and the reason is if you come across some unusual activity you should be able to brake within the visible distance and which changes significantly based on the type of vehicle your driving .

In India there is no concept of speed limit. Inside cities and towns the speed limited should be set at 35 kmph. People violating the limit should be fined heavily. But in India the cops will collect a bribe and overlook violations. Bus seems to be at 50 kmph
