Never knew there’s something like “ Maggot farming”.

Ok it’s obvious a lot of us here are not very knowledgeable abt this, and let me explain a bit. First it’s wrong it’s called “maggot”, as these are not maggots but Black Soldier Fly Larvae. Very nutritious bunch, with abt 40-50% protein dried weight. They are very good for feeding animals like fishes, pigs, poultry and the likes due to their protein content. They are natural waste consumers, and are part of the natural recycling of waste products. Humans can consume them, depending on how they are raised. If the right substrate is used, they are good for humans too as snacks. I and my bro are just building out a commercial farm now, capable of producing abt a ton a week of larvae. Plan to expand beyond that towards the end of next year, or beginning of 2026. We ensuring our products are so good, can be eaten by humans. No we not using those ponds as shown in that video. I still find it weird anyone will scale with such a system, that can break your back bending each time like that.
