Never mind the sleeping.. look at the absolute state of this SANDF training facility.

They should get every single one of them out there cutting, trimming, painting and polishing until it looks spotless, and only then resume training. You can't have pride and passion about what you do if that is the environment in which you do it.

Standards, neatness, conscientiousness, punctuality etc are Western concepts. I joined the SANDF in 1996 and left in 2016 (incl. a year as RF). I observed the rejection of these ideas, and the fight against them at every turn. If as a white person you raised an objection to bad behaviour, or disregard for standards, the race card was on standby. Training budgets dwindled into non-existence, white senior officers were treated with utter disdain by corporals who knew they'd get away with it, senior black officers in charge of deployments stole funds etc. A black base OC announced in a based hall meeting that white people have no integrity. That was 2004ish. It was a sht show beyong belief. What you see above barely scratches the surface of what a disaster the SANDF is now.

This is what happens when you allow the defence department to be unionised. Nothing under the tripartite alliance of ANC/SACP/COSATU works.

What a disgrace, so do we need to support this country, our government? Never !! They are a bunch of clowns and lazy fools. May we never get in a situation where these clowns have to defend our country because believe me, they will be destroyed in a day. Everything in our country, is going for a piece of 💩. They are just useless government officials, waiting for payday. Look at our defence force facilities, totally destroyed by this regime. This is not soldiers in any way, shape or form. They are an illusion of failure.
