It looks exactly like a regular flash drive. but it's not. When you plug in a normal USB drive, your computer mounts it as storage but when you plug in a Rubber Ducky, your computer registers it as a keyboard. keyboards are trusted by default so no antivirus scan. The Ducky immediately starts typing a preloaded script at up to 1,000 words per minute. faster than any human. In seconds it opens: — opens a hidden PowerShell window — downloads a reverse shell — creates a backdoor account — exfiltrates saved passwords — installs persistent malware DuckyScript 3.0 made it worse. the payload now detects which OS it's on Windows, macOS, Linux and adapts automatically. in 2026 red teams are documenting multi-vector attacks: one person plants the Ducky while an accomplice calls the IT helpdesk pretending to be a vendor. distraction and compromise simultaneously.

Tesla Full Self-Driving drives us through downtown Toronto without any human input. We are living in a world where a robot on wheels drives better than 99.99% of humans out there. No other car you can buy can do this. Only a Tesla.

Thank you to Random Acts, Spn Tape Ball, & the #spnfamily for supporting Random Acts’ sweet birthday fundraiser for my 50th! You’re helping make the rapid descent into my “decrepit old man” era a little more palatable. I’m flipping the script by sending a few of you who donate (or start a fundraiser page and get your friends to donate) a present from me in thanks. Listen to your elders: chip in if you can!

I’ll never understand low church acoustic guitar Anglicans. If every random parish in the Bahamas can do this once a week then you can muster a couple of hymns.

A versatile robot helping out airports! 🛩️ Meet a two-wheeled robot from Fraunhofer IML! 🦿 This balancing robot with gripping arms successfully completed its initial practical tests at the cargo terminal of Munich Airport a while ago. It transported goods, supported loading and unloading, and assisted with physically demanding logistics tasks. This robot can carry loads of up to 100 kg and reach speeds of around 60 km/h. That’s far beyond what most AMRs can handle, yet it still has arms and a form of mobility that lets it work in spaces designed for people. P.S. What other applications would you use this robot for?! 🦾 ~~ ♻️ Join the weekly robotics newsletter, and never miss any news →

So for 3000 RMB or $440 a month you can rent this robot to fold your laundry (poorly IMO) or play chess with your kid (not very useful). When I asked what else can it do, the guy said “oversee homework” Don’t laugh, this is a real need in China. There’s a ton of homework and it’s hard & lots of parents get super frustrated helping their kids with homework and are looking for relief. There’s a whole genre of short videos of various parents losing their sh*t trying to help their kids with homework that is extremely funny
