I’ve done this driving home. It’a like your not even conscious of what your doing just driving but still manage to get to your destination.

One time, I looked around and realized I had missed my turn and had to figure out where I was.

When that happens I often worry I am living through a projection of my life that my brain has created to compensate for the fact I was in a crash and am actually dying.

I used to drive for uber. Dropped someone off on a road I only get on to go to my uncle house which was about an hour away. When I came out of that highway hypnosis I was getting off on his exit. I just decided to stay there that night smh.

I once drove from CT to NYC on I95 in under 60 minutes. It's a trip that would normally take 90 minutes and to this day I have no recollection of anything that happened on that journey. Scary indeed.

I've done most of those road trips trips plus SF to Denver, Denver to DFW, DFW to Miami, and DFW to Vegas, but NONE of them compare to driving through Southern Utah. 😴😴😴😱
