Now you have to go get it.” They’re bred to go on a hilltop with sheep and watch them alone for days. So they expect that you trust them to make their own decisions. They enjoy sitting and observing, and patrolling. Then more observing. Then more patrolling. They like to sleep in places where they can see everything.

You're right. Here's a malinoise in action. They need to be stimulated regularly. That's one thing some people don't know yet. They get dogs because they have the money and they like it.
