Red tail catfish. Brazilian Amazonian Catfish, we call It pirarara. They are big, this one is close to Max size. Also those mofos can breath Air, so he's Fine If people want to send hum back. But their meat os great and I think its an invasive species up there in US

It's a Redtail Catfish and people buy them small and release them in the wild when they get too big for an Aquarium. They survive in the deep south.

red tailed cat, illegal aquarium dump, invasive species!, glad he caught it.

That’s a “baby” Redtail catfish. They grow a lot larger than this one. I was always tempted to buy one at about 2 inches in length, but I know that it in a few years it will outgrow my 500 gallon aquarium and eat all the inhabitants in it.

That…is one big ass fish. 😳

I like how the catfish is just chillin', lazily wagging its tail fin.

Oh no white people find food in water while others find cars free in the streets

It's invasive. No size limit or creel limit on invasive species. In some places they pay you for this and documenting its removal from the ecosystem.

Freshwater in south Florida is filled with all kinds of exotics that outgrown aquariums.

redtail catfish i know from watching river monsters

That’s a red tail catfish a native species of fish in the Amazon River. If this fish was found in the states then we have another invasive species epidemic

Just caught it? Get that monster back in the water if you're not going to eat it 😂😂😂 must have been one hell of a fight!!!

For those that don’t know, it’s actually illegal to reintroduce an invasive species back into the water if it’s caught.

They are native to the Amazon
