I do like that he isn't just another super capable zone wisened character like strelok and degtyrev, and him being a little eccentric sorta shows the side effects of his strange emission resistance. the loss of CS, Spark and everything between has probably eroded him a bit.

Idk his fate lines up with exactly what I thought happened to him. I just met Nimble though and I’ve avoided spoilers, but I don’t think he’s the same person much at all anymore. He was told he couldn’t survive more emissions. Brains probably melted away.

I’m honestly glad that not every returning character is a chad stoic loner, and some are genuinely as fucked up as you might expect
