Octopuses, Goats, and certain Toads all share a similar pupil....

Small ambush predators have slitted pupils. It doesn't matter if you are a cat, a fox. They have that. Not everything has to be about reptiles.

I never thought about the other animals, but yes cats are very psychic, and I think all animals see the other realms which most of us don't due to being dumbed down.

@SteveLovesAmmo Cats HATE SNAKES so much they attack them and kill them every chance they get. They save their human family members from snake bites all the time. When I was a kid our cat saved our lives when a rattle snake slithered thru our front door and tried to kill my baby brother.
