Cats are a great test of character! If someone can't appreciate their charm, it's definitely a red flag.

There is definitely something to be said for people who have the patience to cultivate a relationship with a cat vs expecting a dog to automatically give unearned affection from day 1 with little effort. Makes me wonder what their other relationships are like.

Not liking cats has always been a deal breaker for me in a relationship.
