Absolute nonsense! 🤨 Just heard this LBC caller Barry claiming that as a nearly 50-year-old black man, people still cross the road and clutch their handbags whenever they see him walking towards them, holding it up as proof of everyday racism in Britain. Barry on LBC: “I’m a black man, and when I walk down the street, it doesn’t matter that I’m almost 50 years old, people will still cross the road. People still cross the road. They will still grab their handbags. I ask the question, are they being careful or are they being prejudiced?” No, Barry. That is not the everyday reality of Britain in 2026. Most people do not clutch their handbags or dart across the road at the sight of a middle-aged black man. Treating this as the normal experience of black men in this country is just not true. Britain is one of the most tolerant, welcoming, and least racist countries on Earth. We take in more people from every background than almost anywhere else, and the vast majority of us live and work together without drama. There are racists in every society, that will never fully disappear, but painting the average person on a British street as constantly prejudiced against black men is a tired exaggeration. This clip is a perfect example of how normalized it has become to openly discriminate against White people. I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. And we have seen this happen with a lot of artists. Just collapsing under the pressures of their fame and global reach. It’s what’s makes bts stand out I think. Normally I wouldn’t be this interested in chip tech, even considering this is impressive. Huawei has found a creative workaround to catch up with the likes of TSMC. But what makes it even more compelling to me is the bigger story and resilience behind it. Starting in 2019, Huawei faced intense sanctions that significantly restricted their access to advanced chip technology and global supply chains. For a while, it looked like this would seriously damage or even sideline them in major way. A lot of people thought the company was done or would be stuck far behind for years. Yet Huawei refused to die. Pushed hard by those challenges, they didn’t fold or give up. Instead, they dug in, poured everything into self-reliance, research, and fresh thinking. They reinvented how they approach problems and entered a whole new era of innovation and creativity that probably wouldn’t have happened this quickly, or maybe even at all, without being forced into that corner. That’s the part I find truly inspiring. When the pressure was at its heaviest, they turned obstacles into fuel. They focused on what they could control, built up their own capabilities, and came back stronger with real breakthroughs. It’s rare to see that kind of determination pay off in such a visible way. So many observers probably believed the sanctions would destroy them or at least slow them down permanently. Instead, they lit a fire under the whole company and sparked a level of ingenuity that feels genuinely exciting to watch unfold. Sanctions were supposed to end them. Instead, they pushed Huawei into this impressive new chapter of self-reliance and forward momentum. No. You don’t get to launder this by calling him an “observer,” as if he were a neutral bystander who happened to be shot for no reason. Everyone knows what’s happening. Conditioning people to intervene at any cost. And it works. Watch the video I attached. A small woman steps alone in front of a moving car. The physics don’t matter to her. Self-preservation doesn’t matter. Her survival instinct has been stripped out and replaced with obedience. That doesn’t happen organically. You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it. And not one of you has said, “Maybe don’t do this. Maybe don’t send people to play chicken with vehicles and guns.” You didn’t speak up because dead bodies are useful to you. They justify the next riot. Once you condition people this way, it’s inevitable that someone shows up armed. It’s inevitable that ICE agents are threatened. It’s inevitable that you misframe it afterward. It’s inevitable that you roll out barricades and prepare for a night of fire in Minneapolis. About keeping the grift alive. You’re willing to put people in harm’s way, to break them, even to kill them, so your funding and your lifestyle continue uninterrupted. The so-called “observer” was a victim, but not of ICE. He was a victim of you.

Today, as my country marks its 54th National Day Eid Al Etihad the streets of the UAE glow with flags, songs, and cars covered in the face of our leader, Mohammed bin Zayed. And you know what’s funny? Those who hate their own governments look at us… and assume we must be like them. They wish we were angry. They wish we wanted elections. They wish we hated our president. But wishes don’t turn into reality just because your own countries are drowning in chaos. Here’s the truth: The UAE stands united people, leadership, and vision. Unity is not a slogan here; it’s a lived reality. Our president doesn’t divide us… he defines us. And if you think the civilians of the UAE want to “change” their leader, then it’s only in your dreams the same dreams where you imagine the Muslim Brotherhood returning to power, or extremists rewriting history. The world can see it with their own eyes: A country built on trust, respect, and leadership that serves its people not rules them with fear.
