But in Zombieland Saga specifically it is important to convey that she has an accent. The anime is about a specific prefecture in Japan and she is using that area's dialect. A lack of accented subtitles would remove context that is being given in the original spoken Japanese.

But I already know that it's in a specific prefecture in Japan, because the show tells us that. It's a huge part of the plot. I don't need it to be represented in the form of a bunch of unnecessary contractions that make the subs harder to read.

Can you link me that IQ tester? I want to see how bad my damage is.

Vot is rrong viz typing in my aksont, neegairre?

You know french better than I do, but I believe it's spelled "niguerre."

How is your throat anything other than a withered crater at this point

I approached the Katsu voice the same way I approach doing screaming/growling vocals in metal songs: I kept working on it and changing it until I found a way to do it that didn't put stress on my vocal cords. Her voice has gone through a lot of changes over the past couple years. If you watch my earlier videos, it sounds very different, and the original version definitely hurt my throat. It was very difficult to do for extended periods of time. I used to struggle to get through a whole livestream doing that voice. I would do a 3 hour stream and be sweating by the end because it was so much effort - not just for my voice, but for my whole body. However, with this current incarnation, there's no stress at all. It's like anything else, I just had to figure out the right technique. Sorry for the essay, I just get this question a lot, and I figured I'd finally answer it here.❤️

I dunno, you ever seen Scottish twitter? Personally, I'm glad they type with an accent.

Welcome home, Katsu.

❤️
