Paying 3 digits of any kind for a ponytail was the first red flag

Hell naah!! $250 for ponytail?!?! And the late fee being equal to the $75 deposit?!?!

Ok, but how is it the stylist's fault that you were late and you didn't read the policy??? The ponytail itself is a different story, but the whole first 3 minutes was you complaining about something that was your own fault.

The late fee policy needs to go both ways then. When I get to my appt on time and they are running late, do I get to charge a fee for my time and the fact it could make me late?

What she has looks HORRIBLE. Her real hair and the ponytail are 2 different textures and color because the product used to lay the haid down was probably a cheap gel filled with alcohol. It's all bad. Looks like a 12 yo did it in the living room for $25

Agreeing to pay that amount in the first place is the first problem. There’a no reason a ponytail should cost more than $100.

I hope she trolling. In the hood we pay only 50 bucks for that hairstyle. And that’s high . back in the day that same ponytail use to be 25 dollars. For people who have no clue how to do hair. That’s a very easy ponytail that almost anyone can do themselves.

Baby, this is exactly why I do my own hair to the girls that are still going to hairstylist’s stop get on YouTube. Learn how to do it yourself save yourself some coin it might be time-consuming but it’s better than getting hit over the head for $300 ponytail smh

Back in my days that style would’ve been $50 dollars this is why I dreaded my hair those stylists getting over on folks out there

We did our hair we baby boomers. We did perms, weaves, braids, natural hair and nails. We grew up doing this so a ponytail we would NEVER 👎🏾 PAY FOR let alone that much money. But it looks and feels good to this generation to pay this it’s like a social thing. But in the end 💡

Probably why my hair is now about 40” long (last time I measured). Obviously I don’t have the issues she has with her stylist, but I understand the huge expense and finding someone who won’t botch the job.
