In a few weeks, the Senate will vote on the ASIO Amendment Bill (No. 2)—and every Australian who values freedom under the law should be paying attention. This Bill doesn’t just extend extraordinary powers—it makes them permanent. Powers that were meant to expire by March 2027 would instead become ongoing. It expands compulsory questioning for adults and even minors, weakens safeguards, limits access to legal counsel, and lacks proper judicial oversight. These are not ordinary powers. They allow the state to compel answers under threat of penalty. That is a serious intrusion into personal liberty. Of course, national security matters—but it must never come at the unchecked expense of freedom. For these reasons, I will NOT be supporting this Bill. Under the government of Jacinta Allan, transmission companies can now move to secure easements across private land much earlier in the process. Foreign ownership laws aren't being complied with and Labor’s statistics can’t be trusted. How many Australian homes should be purchased and owned by foreigners? One Nation’s answer is ZERO. As with the other products and resources that Australia has, we will continue to diversify markets for our products which are in demand globally. "It's not always pleasant when people are moved involuntarily from their homes or are required to sell their land." The Irish government has introduced a Compulsory Purchase Order bill designed to make it easier for the state to seize private property. These people locked us down, flooded our country with strangers, attempted to force hate speech laws on us and now they are coming for our homes. I've been warning Australians that our immigration system is out of control and now the government's own data confirms it. In February alone, 200,000 foreign students arrived in Australia. In the middle of a housing crisis, this is unforgivable. If we don't act now, the pressure on housing, hospitals, and wages will only get worse. Universities were built for Australian students. They should focus on educating our own young people, not acting as businesses designed to attract foreign students, raking in profits while Australian taxpayers foot the bill. Families are struggling with skyrocketing rents, young people are missing out, and our healthcare system is stretched thin. This cannot be allowed to continue. We need to tighten our immigration system and toughen citizenship rules to ensure people who come here prove their commitment to our values and way of life. Australians must come first. This election is your chance to send a clear message: no more weak immigration policies, no more putting Australians last. One Nation is rising in the polls because Australians are fed up with being ignored. This means we can get candidates elected, and we can give you a real voice, we can turn things around. One Nation has called on the government to declare a National Fuel Crisis. Servo pumps are running empty, prices are skyrocketing and regional towns are being strangled. If we're not in a crisis now - then when will they call it one? The big oil companies are strangling the independent distributors who service the regions. That's forcing the prices up in the regions, and then the big oil owned service stations in the cities are increasing to match. The government can try to gaslight us all they want and try to say there's no emergency. Every Australian can see we have a crisis on our hands. It's time for Minister Bowen to use the laws that are in place: declare an emergency, force supplies to the regions and end the price gouging.
