In 2025, China’s automobile production and sales reached 34.5 million units and 34.4 million units respectively. What does this set of data really mean? Based on China’s current 556 million licensed drivers, on average, 1 out of every 16 drivers got a new vehicle last year. China is essentially a massive auto factory combined with an enormous auto market. Annual production and sales have fluctuated but stayed nearly in balance, with demand even outstripping supply in some years. Take the past five years as an example: total auto production exceeded total sales by only 8,000 units, resulting in an inventory rate of just 0.05‰. The Chinese auto market is far from saturated, although the data has hit a new all-time high and topped the global charts for 17 straight years. In China, there are just 250 vehicles per 1,000 people—less than one-third of the U.S. level and half that of Europe or Japan. Right now, Chinese automobiles—especially new energy vehicles—are rapidly spreading into rural areas across the country. One widely reported case involved Daphy Michel, a Haitian asylum seeker under Temporary Protected Status. After her criminal charges were dismissed, ICE took her into custody, processed her, and enrolled her in electronic monitoring. And instead of returning her to her home, in Washington County… she was released alone, in Pittsburgh, at a bus stop, in an unfamiliar area, and without coordination with her family. Days later, she was found unresponsive, and later died. Another widely reported case involved Nurul Amin Shah Alam, a nearly blind Rohingya refugee, who was released at night and dropped off in freezing conditions in Buffalo… miles from his destination. He was later found dead after wandering alone in extreme weather conditions. These are just a few examples of different cases, different cities, but it’s the same pattern… Night releases, unfamiliar drop-off spots, vulnerable people left without support… and it starts to look like there are no real safeguards in place during an ICE release, and no accountability. And with no accountability, ICE agents will continue to put people’s lives at risk, including U.S. citizens.

Bro this guy is printing money selling a free diabetes ebook found a store called "diabetes notes" 130 ads running, been seeing them for 6 months straight, 50k visitors a month on their site. completely faceless. grabs recipes from tiktok, films his physical book, but it's actually a digital ebook. sells it for $0 upfront then stacks upsells and shipping fees behind it. now here's where it gets interesting. i think this is the same person running the photography store and the risen art store. found around 10 stores with the exact same design, same funnel structure, same offer just dropped into a different niche each time. all of them running hundreds of ads for 6+ months. if it's one guy the strategy is just: pick a niche, build an ebook, set up the funnel, repeat. that's it. or people are just copying the model and jumping into new niches. either way someone is eating. the product almost doesn't matter. digital products work in every niche right now. health, art, photography, fitness same playbook, different audience. if you're sleeping on this you already know what to do.

On April 1, the two pictured individuals attached a credit card skimming device to a self-checkout register at Walmart located on Exposition. It wasn’t until July 1 that the device was discovered! It is still not known how many people could have had their information stolen, but detectives are actively working on this case. With the increase in self-checkout registers, investigators have noticed a rise in credit card skimming incidents, where criminals install hidden devices on card readers to steal your sensitive information. Here's how you can protect yourself: 🔎 Stay Observant: Before using any card reader, inspect it closely for any signs of tampering or loose components, even consider giving it a tug since they are usually only installed with tape. Absolutely terrific use of a small, often unrecognized nuance in language to make a larger point for Mother's Day, by Philips India (agency: Magic Circle). Loved the way the point was made organically, using the generational gap in language and understanding. There are so many words like this that offer a gendered split leading to the tasks being seen as only one person's even though they are (and should be) shared responsibilities. 'Babysitting', for instance. It's a temporary (often paid) job, but when a father proudly says that he is 'babysitting' it implies he is looking at it as someone else's full-time responsibility and he is simply "helping" for the time being. Men saying, 'I allowed her to go', or women saying, 'He lets me work', is another example. These are words of 'permission' not a partnership. Women are often said to be 'managing' the house, which makes the men to 'living' in the house? And then the perennial advertising favorite that should stop: women portrayed as 'multi-taskers' or worse, 'superwomen'. The framing not only romanticizes exhaustion but also absolves the people around her from picking up the slack. That said, there are 2 points of minor counterpoints that came to my mind even as I was enjoying the ad. One is around the class blind-spot. We are in an era of the "10-minute househelp" offered so many VC-funded startups. When housework is often outsourced to paid domestic workers, the narrative of "everyone’s shared responsibility" becomes muddled because the labor is actually being performed by a third party from a different social class. The second blind-spot is around economics. The message of "democratizing the kitchen" through an airfryer only applies to those who can afford the gadget. Over and over and over again, these woke dopes, these Chardonnay socialists prove themselves to be complete hypocrites. STATEMENT: James Harvey, my boyfriend and founder of Students Against Tyranny, was arrested at around 8am today, before our protest in Bowthorpe. The arrest concerned an alleged ‘racial aggravation’ on July 21st, with James calling migrants ‘Foreign Filth.’ This is alleged, and an investigation has been launched. He has been taken to Wymondham Police Station, and remains in custody. I am in utter disbelief. Six officers came to our house (two to arrest, two to search the house, and another two to provide larger bags for devices). Rather than searching the rest of the house, they only searched one room - MY BEDROOM. They came with a warrant, and four offices stayed in my room (searching and writing in their folder) for thirty solid minutes. This is all why I am in my pyjamas (I had only just had a shower). When they came, James wasn’t even dressed. We had had a long night of planning the day. Luke Sharman, who I interviews to exposed the Brook and Norwich hotels, was also arrested at a similar time for ‘Affray.’ That is, at least, 10 officers that came out to arrest people today. But children in Bowthorpe are being ignored by the police, putting their safety in jeopardy. Children claim to have been photographed by migrants, and when reporting to the police, get the response, “It’s not illegal, there’s nothing we can do.” Every day, I am shown that our police force is not what it used to be.

GPT 5.6 Sol just saved me €650 a year and demonstrated just how good this model is as an agent in @ChatGPTapp Codex. This is not a clickbait, let me explain. In France, insurance companies tend to hide all their prices behind quote forms that take at least 5min to complete for a single configuration on a single provider's website. And that take an other 5min to understand. If you want to compare 10 companies across 5 configurations each, it takes at least 4h +. (It's such a painful process that entire businesses exist just to compare insurance offers.) Since I have two cars, it would normally take me 8h so an entire day to have a real large view of my best option. Companies know this and use the friction to maintain overpriced offers. So I asked @ChatGPTapp with GPT 5.6 Sol, using Chrome tabs, to go through all those annoying forms. I provided him all my contrats with my current insurance companies so he have context. For some insurers, you even have to speak with a representative just to get a quote (which is absurd in 2026), so it emailed the companies, exchanged the required information, and obtained the prices. It then ran a complete benchmark, read all the terms and conditions, and recommended three options from three different companies. I picked one, and it completed the subscription with my new insurance company. And that's how I ended up with better insurance coverage for less money. For 4% of my weekly quota in 20x plan. (i think it's fair) All of that happened while I was walking my dog for 50 minutes, he was working on my computer all by it's on. Yes, computer use existed before OpenAI GPT 5.6 Sol, but this is a completely different level in the way it handles these kinds of tasks. I think this story shows the new era of AI we're entering, good model is not only for one single task as coding or answering question, AI now can do things for you, like in your daily live. I love being able to hand my computer over to GPT 5.6 Sol. PS: The only annoying part was that some companies still require "Verify you're human" checks. In the age of AI agents, websites really need to be ready for robot access.
