This was not a covid thing conspiracy. End result is an Ericsson 3 radio enclosure built for 5g. The light aperture is to block the light from annoying the residents. There is no conspiracy here. You like you phone connection? It dwindles away the more poeple are on it, so yes more site are needed and they are trying to hide them better per the city being installed. That's it period.

The fiber case is being spliced at night because that is the window for active service management. Doing a back bone fiber case splice / cut during normal working hours would be a trouble ticket ready to happen.

Most splicing happens between 1200 and 0500, no one wants their shit down during the day
