First look at the new Deadlock hero - Venator! 1️⃣ Consecrating Grenade - Fire a grenade that bounces before exploding, dealing weapon damage and setting enemies on fire. Burning targets deal pure damage to enemies in the area and suffer from reduced healing. 2️⃣ Gutshot - Fire a blast with your shotgun, dealing weapon damage and pushing enemies back. Enemies near a wall receive stun and take bonus weapon damage. 3️⃣ Hex-Lined Snap Trap - Kick a trap that arms after a brief delay. The trap springs on the first enemy it touches, dealing spirit damage, applying immobilize, and revealing enemies for a duration afterwards. 4️⃣ Ira Dominii - Load your crossbow with 3 stakes, dealing massively increased weapon damage. The final stake is blessed, dealing bonus pure damage and executing low-health enemies. Venator doesn't walk the righteous path, he blazes the trail so that others may do so safely. My favorite weapons in Where Winds Meet! What’s yours so far? Full video on how to get all of them ⬇️ - The Vernal Umbrella: Immobilizing enemies and then hovering in the air to shoot a flurry of projectiles is a killer combo. Not to mention the fact that you can throw the umbrella and let it act like a drone, constantly dealing damage while you switch to your second weapon. And come on: it’s an umbrella! - The Mortal Rope Dart: This weapon lets you pull enemies toward you and drop them down with a kick. You can also drop rats that attack the same target you’re hitting with your light attacks. A really fun weapon once you get the hang of it. - The Panacea Fan: Amazing as an off-hand healing device. Switch to it to create an area-of-effect heal, then grab your DPS weapons again to stay alive while dealing damage. Another super unique weapon. - The Thundercry Blade: Way stronger than I expected. It lets you create a shield based on your HP and grants you Fighting Spirit, which you can use for a powerful charged heavy attack combo that slams enemies to the ground. You can also pull enemies for some crowd control, and after that, your heavy attacks charge 50% faster. #WhereWindsMeet #Ad

$.Logan on our latest piece in Human Progress about what unifies the enemies of civilization: What unifies all of the enemies of civilization is that they all slow down the growth of knowledge. Now, you ask, how can we take advantage of this fact, namely that all of the enemies of civilization share in common this feature that they curb the growth of knowledge? This fact tells us that we can, if we so choose and if we make the right decisions, outpace them in the growth of knowledge. So, one strategy to defeat the enemies of civilization is basically to outpace them in this great war of memes and growing wealth and knowledge, such that eventually, the memes that comprise the enemies of civilization, as well as the wealth that the enemies of civilization control, is an ever smaller fraction of the total meme pool and wealth that civilization has to offer. So, this is what success would look like if we think about outpacing them. But there's also the strategy of replacing the memes that comprise the enemies of civilization with better ideas. This is just a fancy way of saying we could also persuade people. So that would be a kind of inside-out approach, rather than the out-pacing, which is kind of from the outside in. And of course, we can walk and chew gum at the same time. We can continue to build and outpace the enemies of civilization while persuading people that the relevant ideas that curb the growth of knowledge are mistaken. And by the way, just to make the conversation a little less abstract, the enemies of civilization that we wrote about in our piece, which is an excerpt of the script we wrote for your upcoming documentary, those enemies are socialism, environmentalism, scientism, relativism, dogmatism, and doomerism. There's a necklace in Crimson Desert that allows you to make it THUNDERSTORM on command. It's called the♦️Rainstorm Necklace♦️!! This is the perfect item for players who think outside the box, and I'm about to explain why, but first ⬇️⬇️ - Reach Chapter 8 and complete 15 Pailune Militia faction quests - Become friendly with the Longleaf Tribe (do their quests) - Accept and complete the quest "Forest Drowned in Mud" by slaying a mud monster (axiom pull its diamond head and attack it on the ground - Turn in quest - Bob's your uncle The Rainstorm Necklace is great for several reasons that you might not have considered before: - You can control the growth of your crops, obviously (especially if you pair it with the Radiant Necklace) - If you use lightning abilities, you can become a literal THUNDER GOD: do a lot more damage to wet enemies with lightning-based attacks. Conversely, fire-based attacks from said enemies are rendered useless -You can alter the terrain to fill dry riverbeds and reveal previously hidden areas This is a multipurpose tool with a 3 hour in-game cooldown. First look at the new Deadlock hero - Silver! Liliah Silver is a mess. She drinks too much, she smokes too much, and the less is said about her personal life the better. But despite Silver's flaws she has managed to carve out a career as successful bounty hunter, and while she would like to think that her successes are solely because she has incredible intuition, the fact that she's a werewolf doesn't hurt. 1️⃣ Slam Fire - Instantly reload your gun. You gain bonus fire rate and deal bonus weapon damage based on the target's health for a limited number of shots, but suffer from reduced accuracy. 2️⃣ Go For The Throat - Deal melee damage to all enemies in front of you, receiving a heal for a portion of the damage dealt. The damage is increased the lower health they have. 3️⃣ Boot Kick - Dash forward and kick the first enemy hit, dealing melee damage while pushing yourself off and marking them. 4️⃣ Mauling Leap - Leap forward, mauling the first enemy hit for melee damage. They suffer from reduced bullet resist and take spirit damage over time. 5️⃣ Entangling Bola - Throw a bola, dealing spirit damage, applying slow and preventing movement abilities, stamina, or jumping. 6️⃣ Tail Whack - Smash enemies around you, dealing spirit damage. They suffer from disarm and a brief slow. 7️⃣ Lycan Curse - Passive: Dealing damage generates bloodlust, increased at low health. At max bloodlust, you automatically cast Lycan Curse. Active: Instantly transform, gaining increased max health, move speed, and stacking fire rate on enemy heroes, and replacing your abilities and weapon with their ferocious versions.

Expeditioners, Here’s an extended combat clip from early in the game, featuring a Nevron called Évèque. This footage contains no story spoilers—just pure combat. 🤝 Évèque begins combat with multiple shields, meaning the first hits in combat will be blocked. This Expeditioner uses the free-aim system to target its weak point, which would usually be an excellent opening move. However, due to the shields, the impact is minimal. That said, thanks to an equipped Picto, the attack at least applies stackable burn. You can see the full power of parries and the way that perfect timing can shape your encounters. For both parrying and dodging, you’ll rely on audiovisual cues from enemies to master the timing. These change quite drastically between enemies, the speed that they are attacking, or the spell they are casting. When Évèque builds up chroma, it can use it to unleash a devastating attack that can be much harder to counter. The game offers three difficulty modes. Story Mode is more forgiving when it comes to dodge and parry timing. Expeditioner and Expert modes are more challenging, and increase the damage inflicted by enemies. As you progress, you’ll unlock new skills and Pictos, which will expand your moveset and enhance the effects of your dodges and parries. Starfield is getting a massive new overhaul update on April 7th, alongside a PS5 release and a new expansion "Terran Armada" - FREE LANES: A massive new update, with its main feature being that you can now travel between planets in space with no loading screens - Going into hyper drive no longer takes you into a loading screen, instead you can get up and explore your ship, talking to crew members while you travel - There are new POIs on planet surfaces so exploration is no longer as repetitive as before on the randomly generated planets - There are a new set of encounters that interrupt your space flight, making the act of travel actually interesting now - TERRAN ARMADA EXPANSION: A new faction that you have to face, mainly robots and there is a new companion which is also a robot named Delta. The new weapons are more like modern guns rather than futuristic stuff - Terran Armada incursions: These seem to be new radiant quests to take on enemy outposts - X-Tech is a new material that allows you to upgrade your weapons further, with a ton of new weapon perks alongside it - There are new skins for weapons as well - New player home: A mansion carved out of an asteroid, seems to be the most expensive house in the game - New ship modules that enhance the ship, including a stealth drive that makes your ship invisible. - New ship optimization module that optimizes specific ship systems, as well as a ton of new ship upgrades - New modules for the home building system that are already furnished, such as cabins that you can also further customize - A shared container that acts as one storage box between all your different settlements - New action figure collectibles that give you passive bonuses, pretty much the same as the vault boy collectibles from Fallout - You can now get pets in your settlements and there's a new little robot companion, Muria is also now a companion. - New Game+ now allows you to keep your items on a replay when you finish the main story through crafting a new container with quantam essence and allows you to put any item you wanna keep in it - You can now upgrade all Starborn powers through new levels using the new Quantam Essence item, which can be gained by taking out Starborn enemies - New location: Anchor Point star station, where you'll find many new quests - New vehicle "Moon jumper", it can boost upwards and basically fly - Enemies have new traits and they are "smarter" now, more challenging. Starfield is coming to PS5 + Terran Armada and the update all on April 7th for all platforms.

Starfield is getting a massive new overhaul update on April 7th, alongside a PS5 release and a new expansion "Terran Armada" - FREE LANES: A massive new update, with its main feature being that you can now travel between planets in space with no loading screens - Going into hyper drive no longer takes you into a loading screen, instead you can get up and explore your ship, talking to crew members while you travel - There are new POIs on planet surfaces so exploration is no longer as repetitive as before on the randomly generated planets - There are a new set of encounters that interrupt your space flight, making the act of travel actually interesting now - TERRAN ARMADA EXPANSION: A new faction that you have to face, mainly robots and there is a new companion which is also a robot named Delta. The new weapons are more like modern guns rather than futuristic stuff - Terran Armada incursions: These seem to be new radiant quests to take on enemy outposts - X-Tech is a new material that allows you to upgrade your weapons further, with a ton of new weapon perks alongside it - There are new skins for weapons as well - New player home: A mansion carved out of an asteroid, seems to be the most expensive house in the game - New ship modules that enhance the ship, including a stealth drive that makes your ship invisible. - New ship optimization module that optimizes specific ship systems, as well as a ton of new ship upgrades - New modules for the home building system that are already furnished, such as cabins that you can also further customize - A shared container that acts as one storage box between all your different settlements - New action figure collectibles that give you passive bonuses, pretty much the same as the vault boy collectibles from Fallout - You can now get pets in your settlements and there's a new little robot companion, Muria is also now a companion. - New Game+ now allows you to keep your items on a replay when you finish the main story through crafting a new container with quantam essence and allows you to put any item you wanna keep in it - You can now upgrade all Starborn powers through new levels using the new Quantam Essence item, which can be gained by taking out Starborn enemies - New location: Anchor Point star station, where you'll find many new quests - New vehicle "Moon jumper", it can boost upwards and basically fly - Enemies have new traits and they are "smarter" now, more challenging. Paul Schrader explains how 'Rolling Thunder'(1977) ended up being a fascist film: "'Rolling Thunder' (1977) was going to be my first film as a director. That film has an ironic history. I originally sold it to Larry Gordon at AIP, and then Larry moved from AIP to Columbia and took it with him, and then he left Columbia and took it to Twentieth Century Fox, made it there, and then Twentieth sold it back to AIP again and they released it. The story of 'Rolling Thunder' was really botched in the rewriting. The main character in the film was meant to be the same sort of character as Travis, with that same anti-social edge. The character, as I originally wrote him, was a Texas trash racist who had become a war hero without ever having fired a gun, and came home to confront the Texas Mexican community. All his racism from his childhood and Vietnam comes out, and at the ending of the film there’s an indiscriminate slaughter of Mexicans, meant as some kind of metaphor for American racism in Vietnam. In order to get it made at Twentieth, they insisted that that racist element be taken out, which is the equivalent of giving Travis Bickle a dog. Once you take out the perverse pathology of these characters, rather than become films about fascism they become fascist films, and that’s what happened to Rolling Thunder."
