🚨 NEW: Clay Travis NAILS IT on Stephen Colbert getting canned: “I was a huge Letterman fan back in the day. He was still of the era alongside Leno and Carson where they tried to make fun of EVERYBODY EVENLY. The entire nation was their canvas for comedy.” “When...

CHILDISH: CNN’s Jake Tapper seethes over friend Jimmy Kimmel being suspended indefinitely from ABC, defending his crass and divisive jokes by arguing it doesn’t really matter and implies Americans “ are holding late-night comedians to a standard for speech and decency, that we do not hold our elected leaders, including the President of the United States, to.” Legal guest Joe Moreno correctly pointed out this was a decision by ABC (and, I would add its affiliates).... Moreno: “Well, I don’t think ABC is canceling him because they’re afraid of the FCC. I think they’re afraid that they’re going to lose whatever audience he has left, because that’s such an offensive thing. He said. As far as look, there’s so much media alternatives at this point. So I think the FCC’s — the range of authority they have is less and less because there are so many other outlets to — to reach out to. So if Kimmel wants to reappear somewhere else, he will. I think the point is, though, that again, when you alienate a part of the population who at some point just stops watching, then you have no incentive to keep whatever left of that audience as there is. And then, you know, it just kind of goes down the drain.” Tapper: “Let me ask you a question. Do you think that we are holding late-night comedians to a standard for speech and decency, that we do not hold our elected leaders, including the President of the United States, to?” Moreno: “I guess, who’s we? I mean, you’re talking about audience watchers or American citizens?” Tapper: “The American — the American people, the — the government of the of the United States, as of now. Are we demanding that our late night comedians behave in a more upright and more conciliatory, insensitive way than we demand that our President act?” Moreno: “Well, I think it’s not so much demanding. It’s — if you don’t like what Kimmel saying, you turn it off. If you don’t like what Trump is doing, you don’t vote for him. So I think that’s the power you have. And so I don’t know that there’s any kind of.” Tapper: “But we’re not turning off Jimmy Kimmel. There’s being pressure applied to have him canceled.” Moreno: “That’s ABC’s choice though. They don’t have to cancel him.” Progressive Chuck Rocha: “But they feel the heat. That's when they do it.”

#7 - Bill Maher delivers a brutal wake-up call to Democrats after the election. Reflecting on Kamala Harris’s last-ditch to captivate viewers on Saturday Night Live, Maher pointed out a major flaw with his party—a flaw so fatal that it makes it “not a good place for us to be.” “I saw Kamala was on Saturday Night Live, as the losing candidate often is… I’m sure every single member of the Saturday Night Live cast was a Harris supporter, but what if one of them wasn’t? What if one of those cast members was for Trump? Would they have felt comfortable saying so? I really don’t think so. They would have had to keep it to themselves. That’s not a good place for us to be.” “And that happens even more on the left. I remember when Elon Musk hosted. And this is well before he was a Trumper. This is three or four years ago. He was just the richest man in the world. And a number of the cast members on Saturday Night Live, like, they didn’t want to deal with him. “They didn’t exactly boycott, but they made it plain. And I was thinking, really, you have Elon Musk on your show for a week. You could talk to one of the most interesting, brilliant people the world has ever produced, even about this issue that bothers you so much—that he’s so rich and lots of people aren’t. But no, you don’t want to even deal with him. “That’s what I hate about the left. You’re brats. You’re brats, and you’re snobs, and people don’t like that.”
