I've served as a Force Recon Marine and DoD contractor with 8 departments to Afghanistan as part of a JSOC Task Force, I founded one of the most impactful VSOs - Mighty Oaks - severing over a 1/2 a million service members, I've led humanitarian rescue operations around the globe in collaboration with the pentagon, JSOC, and other government agencies. And with all that, I absolutely believe Pete Hegseth is the right choice for SecDef at this moment in history. Our military is strategically capable, but it's hurting in the areas of moral, recruitment, and retention - the 3 biggest threats to our national security. We need a leader from outside of the institution to come in and systematically reform our military in these areas. It is essential to the war fighting culture, capability, and our national defense.
