new cs2 update gives you significantly less height from hopping off elevations compared to before old: ~55u new: ~43u this makes jumps like the mirage van to apps no longer hoppable

Looks like it broke this jump on nuke too. Can no longer bhop all the way to the end without having to crouch.

yea i initially noticed it when the jump to ct red box over the railing became 5x harder

the van jump seems to be still barely possible if you hit the right rng you can experiment yourself by using sv_legacy_jump 1/0 that restores old jump behavior together with cl_showpos 2 look for this number that indicates the heighest point reached during your jump

Very confused rn... Not Bhop but if u jump just before corner shadow, very doable

regular jumps should not be affected by this, only hops basically this update made low/highground hops give you the same height as hops on flat ground, where before hops onto highground gave you higher jumps than flat and hops onto lowground gave you lower jumps than flat

only bhops onto elevations are affected as far i can tell they now act as if you landed on flat ground vs before they gave you extra height
