new Evangelion series looks crazy

“I love this. For mysterious reasons, I love this.”

Can we have a series that's just Kaji and his watermelons?

"There goes Rei with a nuke" Kaji said so casually it's like he spotted her at the grocery store

Yoko Taro is a genius. Notice how he deconstructed this scene down to its core elements which not only saves on production costs, but it also allows him to focus on the main themes of each episode Truly a master of his craft

This just spun me in a total 180 on my opinion regarding live-action remakes.

This is better than I anticipated.

Just what I needed

? that's just direct footage from the original series

Gendo looks like he might be about to make piss

SWEDED

Still better than your average Netflix adaptation.

Lee pace really can do anything. He’s a chameleon

The real Neon Genesis is the Evangelions we made along the way

Maybe...try to not. Have. That. Happen. That delivery makes me laugh every time omg

this is provoking the EXACT same feeling i had

面白かったわ めっちゃ丸いミサトさん出てきてダメだった🤣

You should put some Keiichi Okabe music over it to make it see more Yoko Taro lol

This is unironically a type of thing Yoko Taro might consider including.

Isn’t it interesting that although I’ve been a Gundam fan for DECADES, this is what it took— seeing this to convince me to give Evangelion a go? 😭

Cool!

I quote that last Gendo line all the time.

OAKY! PERFECT, CUT! Now send it in theatres just like this and make everyone watch it! Go go go!

Cool! …. No do the scene 😆

These videos get more impressive every time I watch them
