John Cornyn (R-TX) tells CBS News' Ed O'Keefe that if state Attorney General Ken Paxton wins the Republican primary in the Texas Senate race, Paxton will lose the seat to the democratic opposition in November, "no question." "If Ken Paxton is the nominee, I think all of that is at risk, and not just the Senate race, but these down-ballot races, as well," he said. "I don't know why we would want to take that risk." Cornyn, who is running for reelection for his fifth term, faces a competitive GOP primary on Tuesday night against Paxton and Houston Congressman Wesley Hunt, who are vying to unseat the longtime incumbent.
