Wow, flagged off a brand new 24-hour Bengaluru-Mumbai train! Because nothing says 'progress' like matching the same slow speed as trains from 10 years ago. Buses do it in 18 hrs, flights in 2. But hey, at least the green flag was on time. Vande Bharat in July? Wake us up then.

hardly any stops in karnataka stops at regular intervals in maharashtra 1 stop in bengaluru, that, too, at odd hours go to hell

@drmmumbaicr @drmsbc Sir come out of urs AC Suite Cabin, the Buses on Mumbai Bengaluru route takes 18Hrs & u r offering a Biweekly Train covering 1210Kms n 24Hrs @ Avg Speed f 50.5Kmph. We need Daily SF Exp Train Connecting CSMT-KSR Via UBL-MRJ 1236Kms in 17Hrs Avg Speed 75Kmph.

@RailMinIndia Not sure why the railway minister considers introducing a so-called fast train(actually it takes more than 21 hours) on the existing line as a major achievement?His focus should be doubling or adding multiple tracks straightening the existing line,and making it faster (>200 km/h)

Sir, honestly ask yourself. Are you really proud of inaugurating this train which runs at an average speed of just 50kmph and takes 24 hours, while buses reach in 18-20 hours?

You've promised for SF train between Bengaluru and Mumbai via Hubballi which would cover distance in 18-20 hrs. Today what we get is disgrace to railways because compared to late 90s train which used to run with avg. 48 Km/h and this one with incredible speed of 50 Km/h. Joke 🥲

Mr Vaishnav, please look at the issue of the Ispat express running through Balangir in Odisha. From a most reliable train, it has been made a most uncertain one by the railways because of regular delay. Besides, a new train from Rourkela to Vizag through Balangir be introduced.

Very slow speed..mostly IT people who travel and they can't afford 24 hours waste of time..we need faster options

Pune and Bengaluru are major IT hubs and for years the people are demanding for a train that will cover the distance in under 15 hours. And here you brag about a new train that takes 20 hours to cover the same. The most neglected state Maharashtra..

The local language Kannada was snubbed and imposed hindi on the function. No hindi imposition saar. #nokannadanobusinesss

Why do we need dozens of people to wave Green Flags to get the train moving at Snail 🐌 Speed 😜😂 Unless you compete with AC Sleeper Buses on this route it is a waste of effort & resources. Make it a 15 Hour Journey keeping only 5 halts like Rajdhani Express

We expected a superfast train. But the super slow train has been provided. Disappointed with this new service.
