The unexpected plot twist of PBB Collab 2.0 is that it led us here, to a full month as a fandom. From 𝗮𝘄𝗸𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 to 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, we witnessed a story none of us saw coming. In just a month, we managed to build something real. Something strong. Standing before the graduating class of Clifford University today giving the commencement speech, I felt something bigger than music. I saw a generation ready to change everything. 🇳🇬✨ When I looked into their faces, I saw the same fire that built me, that hunger to be seen, to make something out of nothing, to turn pain into power. I told them that talent might open the door, but purpose gives it meaning. We live in a time where young people carry the future of Africa in their hands. It’s our time, but it’s also our test, to use our platforms, our influence, and our voices to build, not just for ourselves, but for the next ones coming after us. As artists, as dreamers, as believers, we must lead by example. We must show that true greatness is not measured only in numbers, but in impact. My mother, Dr. Veronica Adeleke, understood that long before I did. She was a teacher, a giver, a woman who believed that education and compassion could change lives. Everything I am, the music, the drive, the heart, came from her. Today, I had the honor of inaugurating a hostel at Clifford University named after her. Walking through that building, seeing the smiles of the students who will live there, I realized this was more than a tribute. It was a continuation of her purpose, turning love into legacy, one life at a time. This moment reminded me that even when our parents are gone, their lessons remain alive in what we build, in who we lift, and in how we love. Let me give you my unwanted opinion, something I’ve been keeping in for a while now. The problem is Days of Our Lives never invested in its future past the 2000s. That’s not on the fans. The show didn’t build new legacies, so people naturally cling to the past, the familiar faces, the long history and the stories that actually mattered. That’s what made Days popular for decades. Because let’s be honest, no one is going to look back in 20 years and call characters like Alex, Leo, EJ, Gwen, Cat…Kat…whatever the hell her name is or Dimitri “iconic” or “legacy.” They’re not memorable and the show hasn’t made them worth remembering. And let’s talk about the budget, because it looks like Days is being produced on $100 and a prayer. The sets look like a cheap high school play and that’s on NBC/Peacock. But if you’re already broke, why are you spending what little money you have on a revolving door of nobodies instead of the popular characters, the veterans and stars people actually tune in for? Viewers aren’t growing because the budget is being wasted on flop characters and constant recasts. Maybe stop hiring forgettable characters, stop burning money on pointless recasts and figure out how to get the most out of a bad budget. The show should be strengthening the characters people already care about and actually developing the next generation properly. Fans didn’t fail this show. Starting with electronics enables us to kickstart a recursive self-improvement loop for our agent: assign it shopping tasks with clear success criteria, assess its performance and learn about its specific profile of strengths and weaknesses, and use that rich vein of data to improve both the eval and the base agent.
