I remember the story years and years ago of a girl who died after her prom, this exact same way. Her friend and their two dates (in a motel pool) were not strong enough to break the hold of the "outtake" drain and she drowned within minutes.

My hair when I was a kid got caught in the tub jets and my aunt had to cut my hair with scissors to save me from drowning cause it happened when I was dunking my head, never worn my hair down in a jetted tub or jacuzzi since😅
