before doing that, just go to and see what polling rate you see. If you have a gaming mouse and you see above 500 hz, you don't need to do any of that

I don't think I've ever seen or heard of case where the polling rate was 'locked' at 125hz, assuming you've changed your polling rate of your mouse, so I don't think the verification process works. As to what it does, snake oil fixes are hard to verify, one of the problems.

I don't think game runs at 125hz I tried it, and if my mouse runs at 125hz I would've noticed immediately. I could be wrong but mine works fine.

The game DOES lock the polling rate to 125 yes. Problem: this does not fix that cap.

For all of you slow folks in the comments, there's a widespread issue with bf6 & mouse input. Apparently the game locks it at 125hz. The powershell script is not hacks, malware, etc. It's literally just disabling a windows feature that reduces mouse polling for background apps.
