This has been happening for 5 months-I thought something was wrong with my car-getting horrible gas mileage-would fill tank and it would be gone in no time!!! So when govt. says they will be doing something(rip us off) they have already done it!

Ethanol is not a filler which is why new cars can run off ethanol alone, yes it will consume a little more but we already use e10 and 5% is not going to make much of a difference at all. Sorry about your lack of knowledge.

for small amounts for small engines, you can add water to your gas/ethanol mix, and after about 12 hours, the lighter gasoline will float to the top. if you have a container with a spigot, you can drain the ethanol/water; otherwise, a siphon will be used to pick up the gas.

Every time I don’t use the corvette for like 6 months or more I have to clean out and rebuild its huge 4 barrel carb and I always find a almost clear jelly like substance in the bowls which obviously clogs everything up as well as it seems to kill rubber in some gaskets like the accelerator pump. Never had this in any carbs until maybe five years ago and now it’s in all of them constantly. Should be considered criminal for them to do this

Fortunately for me 100% gasoline stations are abundant here in Oklahoma. I won't put ethanol in my engines. The gas station on the corner switched from 100% to ethanol. They lost so much business that they were forced to switch back. 😁
