“New Glenn” is such a stupid fucking name. Naming it after John Glenn is great, but why “New” Glenn? What doesn’t that even mean? Why not just call it the Glenn rocket? It’s like they couldn’t decide between “Glenn” and “New Horizon” and just did a Markwayne and combined them.

I am a rocket scientist and I can tell you from watching this video that technically a lot of things went wrong with this launch. If you notice by the end of the video there is a large fiery cloud where the rocket should be. That’s a sign that a mistake was made behind the scenes
