NEW GODSENT

We are proud to present the new Godsent Main Team. The team consists of three players from our previous Young Gods team, with the addition of two new promising players in Frank and Snow, who in a very short time has grown into our project. This play will see our club restarting with a young competitive Swedish CS project which can be run efficiently in our hometown of Malmö with the ability to become absolute world-class in a short time. From this point on a new journey begins and in the course of time, through honest work, we will rise again to the top. The Young Gods have been a truly epic team project that by the day was growing its competitive strength under the leadership of Head Coach Samuel “Zyppe” Martinsson. In their previous season they did well in their first season of ESEA Advanced and they also placed third in Elitserien, Sweden's highest domestic league, being the youngest team to ever reach this level that fast, and they have gotten a strong start to this season albeit just being newly formed in its current iteration. The new Godsent team is: Charlie “Cham” Ahlm (IGL) Leo “Wonder” Wänlund Frank “Fraaank” Issal Timmy “Snow” Bruhn Liam “Mail09” Tügel Head Coach Samuel “Zyppe” Martinsson and Assistant Coach Enok Hellebro, Manager Marcus ‘Masterpipe83’ Tügel. We have to highlight Liam “Mail09” Tügel, a homegrown player from our city who already has gained repute in the world and will continue to be a core piece in this project in the coming season. A true god. He recently turned 15 and is likely the next Lionel Messi of Swedish CS. He is the youngest player to ever represent Godsent, closely followed by Brollan who also only was 15 when he joined Godsent in 2017. In skill, age and promise, he will play beside Leo “Wonder” Wänlund, also from Skåne, who turned 17 only this month, and he becomes the third youngest player in to represent the org, closely followed by Dumau who was 17 when joining in 2021. The average age of the new team is 18.2. Notable main partners for this project are Quality Hotel: The Mill, Friskis & Svettis and PLAYR in Malmö, and the team's headliner, Samsung Odyssey, all of which will be essential in enabling us to continue our work with this project at the highest level and supply us with a 24/7 bootcamp solution. In relation to this we will now create a new Young Gods Academy team and continue our work to build elite youth CS teams in Sweden within the frame of Godsent IF as part of the initiative of the Swedish Esports Association (Svenska esport-förbundet). Following us losing the betting headliner of the previous team in January we have undergone a big restructuring. After releasing the team we have had to significantly reshape our organization to a new sustainable standard, from which we now move forward and build upward. We are still servicing debt to some players in our former team and praise them for their ongoing support. We are happy that most of them have already found new competitive projects. It has been a time of penitence and it will be for a time longer, but we are extremely happy to say that we are back in the game with a promising project we believe in. We want to direct an enormous thank you to all and everyone who has continued to support us in times of trial and to all that has recently served our org. A special thank you to the players and creators that were part of Godsent in 2023 - you made Godsent Swedish again and we are forever grateful. Great campaigns take time and by the end of the day the results on the server will have to do the talking.
