EMS was called to Broad & 14th for an unresponsive male. Upon arrival the male was intoxicated and threatened the paramedics trying to assist him. EMS called for RPS, as did a transit bus driver observing from across the street. The intoxicated male then boarded the bus. RPS arrived and took him into custody.

The man says he was walking when the group confronted him and asked him which fist he wanted to be punched with. He was then chased across the street where he was assaulted. “I wanna leave here, I no longer want to live here,” he said during an interview after the incident. The man was sent to the hospital where he incurred $5,000 in medical bills. Two teens aged 13 and 14 were arrested and charged in connection to the incident.

"I saw somebody was in pain and distress... there was no other decision to be made." This person hiding their face, who I assume is a man, ran at me as I was crossing the crosswalk, punched me in the face, and then tried to escape on a bus. Tihron Harrison started punching the bus driver after the driver refused to let him off at a random intersection. As the men were fighting, the bus continued down the road and eventually crashed into a building. Harrison tried fleeing the scene but was caught by police and arrested. Thankfully, the driver was fine besides minor injuries including bumps and bruises.
