More particles, more speed, more accuracy. First render after jumping into the source code to make a particle collision correction vector node #b3d #geometrynodes

NVIDIA RTX Remix Update Introduces Advanced Path-Traced Particle System In RTX Remix, legacy particles from a classic game could be interpreted as path-traced, enabling them to cast realistic light, enhancing the appearance of many scenes.

KIMI K3 VS OPUS 4.8 SIMULATING A 3D PARTICLE SYSTEM same prompt, same target: thousands of particles reacting to gravity and to each other in real time → K3: more organic distribution, smoother motion, particles actually cluster and drift like something physical → Opus: more rigid pattern, less natural, movement reads more like a grid than a simulation K3: $0.65 in API. Opus 4.8: ~$1.30 this is simulated physics, not just aesthetics, and it's the kind of detail that separates a demo from something you'd actually ship

trying to better visualize my coding sessions: each sphere = a project particles orbiting it are its tokens (1 particle ~ 10k) distance from center: last modified

A guy from China just built a system that reshapes thousands of glowing particles into a jellyfish, a dragon, a statue, and a samurai. Just by moving his hands in front of a camera. Just a webcam reading his hand position. Every particle recalculates in real time. 60 frames per second. Not pre-rendered. Not a recording. Live. Clench both fists and the entire thing collapses into nothing. The whole setup runs on a regular camera and a GPU particle system. No special hardware. This is where hand tracking, computer vision, and real-time graphics have gotten. And most people haven't noticed.

> wanted to fly, but couldn't > got decent at making particle systems > made wings using particles I am yet to push the code of this, but feel free to play around with my other experiments. Link is in the comment 👇🏼

I started this GPU implementation of interacting particles and it's already blowing my mind! Have a look at the stuff I found! (Thread) #madewithunity #indiedev #Simulation

Making a Skin for dynamo thats gonna have new sounds particles textures n shit The sun indicator for quantum entanglement being replaced with a lifering might be the best thing ive made with the particle editor

Ok guys, time to come clean: my diabolical plan was to use shaders to merge the GPU particles and create some sort of fluid simulations inside Godot. This is proving difficult, also the particles interact with the collider but not with each other, so this is probably impossible. I don't know if this can spark some idea in the brain of someone more technical than me.
