Now there is an ironic idea that is being floated in which Democrats will team with Republicans to elect a new Speaker of the House, and that Speaker of the House would be none other than Liz Cheney. I don't see it happening. Do you?

Today I almost got removed from the N.H. House Chamber for trying to stop House Republicans from disrespecting the founding principles of our democracy. First they limited debate. Then they adjourned session at 9 PM (after telling us we would be there until 4 AM) in order to prevent any possibility of voting on Democrat-sponsored bills. NH House Republicans do not give a shit about you. They only wanted to get through their bills as fast as possible so they could go home early. And now there is a slim chance any of our bills will even be voted on. I’m pissed. You should be too. #nhpolitics #nh01 #newhampshire #congress #vote

Welp, we tried to run bipartisan legislation so that Members with newborns could vote remotely, and rather than allow the legislation—the Speaker SHUT THE HOUSE DOWN and canceled votes for the rest of the week. That’s right, rather than accommodate new moms on both sides of the aisle, they’d rather shut Congress down. This is what’s happening in the House right now. ⬇️
