[260829 — #HONGJOONG’s Poplive] #9트쫑 #WOOYOUNG #CHOISAN “I think they’re pretty similar to how they’re like in real life. But the way I see it, it actually does have a slightly more ‘raw’ feeling rather than just their real life selves. It’s bcs, we can’t see what they’re like during the times when it’s just the two of them together. So I think the nature of the relationship between them is what makes it fun.” 🐿️: I’ve been enjoying watching 9트쫑. I’m such a dedicated/avid viewer of 9트쫑. It came out to be much more raw and unfiltered than I thought it would be. There’s this thought that immediately came to my mind: “Ah, all this time, my capacity was too small to fully capture the members” That’s what exactly came to my mind (while watching it). I think even at this point in my career, if I had filmed 9트쫑 with them and filmed it exactly like that, I probably would’ve still said to them, “Ah but isn’t that a bit too much?” But watching that side of them I was like, ah, there are sides of them that I haven’t get to see. So yeah, I really enjoy watching that side of the members. Not long ago when I met them at the awards ceremony, I told them that they seemed crazy ㅎㅎ Since we haven’t get to see that side of them in these 8 years either, I also find it really fun to watch. Even while watching I was like, “this is so fun” I think they’re pretty similar to how they’re like in real life. But the way I see it, it actually does have a slightly more ‘raw’ feeling rather than just real life selves. It’s bcs, we can’t see what they’re like during the times when it’s just the two of them together. So I think the nature of the relationship between them is what makes it fun. I also saw them talking with the CEO ㅎㅎ Honestly I was thinking, “Do the members really talk that casually with the CEO, to that extent?” I don’t know 😆 While watching I was just like, they have this side of them too I see ㅎㅎ But if anything, I think that kind of thing is also fun and the reactions are very good too. They achieved the goals they had set for themselves a long time ago. Yeah so, I think it’s like that 😊

🚨GAMING NEEDS A RESET: WHY ELON'S GAME STUDIO COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING The gaming industry desperately needs a shake-up. What once was a medium defined by imagination, fun, and pushing technological boundaries has increasingly become formulaic, predictable, and disconnected from what players actually want. As Tim Sweeney, Founder and CEO of Epic Games, perfectly articulated: "There's one constant in gaming that gets lost—fun. People play games for fun. A lot of recent failures didn't deliver fun, or not enough to compete with real life. Everything else—politics, drama—is a sideshow. The core problem is a failure to deliver fun." This insight from one of gaming's most successful visionaries cuts to the heart of the issue. Major studios have fallen into a cycle of risk-aversion – churning out sequel after sequel while prioritizing monetization schemes over gameplay innovation. Meanwhile, creative decisions increasingly cater to external pressures rather than addressing Sweeney's fundamental truth. Enter a potential catalyst for change. A new AI-focused game studio backed by someone with resources, technological vision, and a track record of transforming calcified industries represents exactly what gaming needs right now – an outsider's perspective unencumbered by industry groupthink. For too long, gaming has been caught between corporate profit-maximization and agenda-driven messaging. A fresh approach that returns to Sweeney's simple truth—that fun is the constant that matters most—could spark a renaissance in an art form that millions love but increasingly find disappointing.
